Listen to Garlicoin. Every new block rings a chord drawn from its own hash, and what people do on this site plays along. Leave it on in a tab.

What you're hearing
- A new block: a low note, then a short tune picked from the block's hash, one note longer for each extra transaction in it. Each mining pool has its own instrument.
- A faucet roll: a soft pluck. A lucky roll or a holiday treat runs up the scale.
- A game score: two marimba notes, higher for a new #1.
- Block Lotto: a chime for an entry, a fanfare for a winner.
- The wall and garlic names: a woodblock knock.
- In between: a soft melody seeded by the latest block, busier and higher the longer the next block takes. When it's quiet for a while, something from earlier plays again, marked Earlier.
Everything is made in your browser as it plays, from the same public data as Live blocks and the home page's Happening now. No audio is downloaded.
